  2. Just a quick note on the copyright attribution on your videos. You’ve put ‘Copyright ITV’ in the titles but being a part of Thames TV they are now owned by FreemantleMedia, the current owners of Thames

  3. I vaguely remember a series in the 1980′s about a group of yuppie gangsters . I think it was called The Fear’ . Was it a Euston films production or did I just dream it all up? I can’t find any reference to it anywhere !

    • Hello Ron,

‘The Fear’ was indeed a Euston Films production made in 1988. To be honest though, I don’t know much else about it! It appears to have been filmed around Islington though.

  4. I am a great fan of Euston films and thanks to dvd, have near enough all of there series,
with of course The Sweeney being in my opinion not only the best cop show ever but the best tv series ever, hope the new film does it justice,
another great favourite was prospects which has never had a proper release on dvd yet,
    one can only wait,
thanks for a great trip down memory lane with your history of euston films,
really surprised that no one has ever wrote a book about all of there productions, etc etc,
there was a book out early in the 80s, but not really what id call a companion book so to speak.

      • Great news at last,
prospects gets a proper dvd relase on 25th march,
        and I have to add,
and this is no dis respect to the late great John Thaw,
        but here goes,
        Ray Winstone is JACK REGAN.
        thought film was amazing,
remember The Sweeney had a tv movie 53 episodes and two films to estabish itself,
only negatives about the film if have to,
should have been much more violant ie an 18 certifcet yeah wrong spelling I know,
Regan should have had more punch ups and shown to hate Villians as Thaws Regan did,
Would love to have seen Craig Fairbass play squad member from the series and books DC Gerry Burtonshaw played orginally by Nick Brimble,
and the final of the film,
should have been a massive punch up with a gang of crims which was always a highlight of the show,
and that also help put it on the map.
One of my cousins is a knowledge boy,
and as I work at the radisson blu hotel heathrow, try to give him work,
watched the knowledge the othernight brill
